Return & Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out as expected. Since we specialize in books and related products, our return process is a bit different from other ecommerce stores. Please take a moment to read through our policy so there are no surprises.

Returns

We accept returns within:

  • 15 days of purchase for books

  • 30 days of purchase for all other physical items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns past those windows.

Please note:

  • All book returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee. Books are delicate and often can’t be resold once opened or handled, so this helps us maintain quality and fairness.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Digital products like ebooks or downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • To be eligible for a return on non-book, non-digital items, the product must be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging.

We require proof of purchase (such as a receipt or order number) for all returns.

Before sending anything back, please contact us first. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an email confirming that your return arrived. We’ll also let you know whether your refund is approved.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within 48 hours.

  • The refund will reflect any restocking or return shipping fees, if applicable.


Order Cancellations

We process all orders quickly to ensure fast shipping. Because of this, fees are involved when cancellations occur.

  • If you cancel after the order has shipped, the following will be deducted:
    15% cancellation fee + $1.50 processing fee + shipping & handling fees.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Double-check your bank account

  2. Contact your credit card provider — it may take a few business days to post

  3. Reach out to your bank — there could be a processing delay

If you've done all this and still don’t see your refund, please email us at mkerber@rwwbooks.com and we’ll help resolve it.


Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale and clearance items are final sale and cannot be refunded.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive damaged or defective.

If that’s the case, email us at mkerber@rwwbooks.com  with your order number and a brief description (including photos if helpful).

Gifts

If your order was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit in the form of a gift certificate once we receive your return.

If the gift wasn’t marked as such at purchase, or if it was shipped to the gift giver first, we’ll issue the refund to the original purchaser and notify them of the return.

You are responsible for your own return shipping costs. If your refund is approved, return shipping may be deducted from your refund total.

For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item otherwise.
